Columbia was contracted to demolish (1) 40,000-gallon AST formerly containing JP-8 fuel at Kelly AFB in San Antonio , Texas . The project involved cleaning and dismantling the associated fuel pumping and piping system. The project also involved demolition and removal of 60,000 sq feet of concrete containment structures and paving. The entire area was backfilled and seeded to match surrounding areas.
